Hi, I’m Srinivasan from Auroville, and I’m the founder of Jielde Elegance.
I completed my schooling at Auroville, followed by my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Pondicherry University. After completing my studies, I spent two dedicated years working directly alongside skilled master craftsmen in Auroville, where I learned the enduring importance of traditional craftsmanship, obsessive attention to detail, and quality finishing.
With that hands-on experience, I started Jielde Elegance from home. Over time, I dedicated myself to deep research, understanding the architectural market, developing distinctive silhouettes, and continually elevating our products. This journey eventually led us to open our own showroom in Auroville, and today, we are proud to see the brand illuminating homes and hospitality spaces across India.

Woven with the intricate seven-steps technique historically found in royal palaces and Durbar halls, modernised for contemporary interior design.
Pure Raw Silk & Poplin
Hand-stretched Mulberry raw silk and tailored multi-layer poplin providing gentle, glare-free light diffusion and screen-printed botanical motifs.
Banana & Sisal Fibre
Sustainable natural agricultural plant fibres hand-crafted into organic diffusers that cast intricate shadowplay and rich earthy textures.
